Responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand their vision, coordinating with vendors, and managing logistics from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Craft detailed event proposals and timelines.
• Assist clients in choosing appropriate venues and services.
• Manage staff and delegate tasks during events.
• Review and settle vendor invoices post-event.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Organize site visits for clients and vendors.
• Attend industry events to network and source potential vendors.
• Stay current with event trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in event planning or project management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Social Media Marketing

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Event Planner (CEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate fluently in Afrikaans for diverse clientele.
