Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Health First Pharmacy, you will manage prescription medications, counsel patients on health management, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. We're looking for someone who is motivated to enhance the health of our community.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions.
• Advise patients about drug interactions and lifestyle impacts on medication.
• Conduct patient health screenings and monitor health changes.
• Work alongside healthcare teams to develop treatment plans.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and interns.
• Conduct health education workshops for the community.
• Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical knowledge
• Patient counseling

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent

Advantageous
