We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication use, providing patient education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Guide patients in understanding their prescription medications.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and audits.
• Manage pharmacy records and insurance claims effectively.
• Monitor for drug interactions and contraindications.
• Advise on over-the-counter medications based on patient needs.
• Counsel patients on health-related topics and provide lifestyle recommendations.
• Assist in training and supporting pharmacy staff.
• Communicate with other healthcare providers on medication-related issues.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacist

• Registered Pharmacist License
