Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. Successful candidates will install and maintain air conditioning and heating duct systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal applicant will be detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of HVAC system mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service HVAC ductwork for residential and commercial clients.
• Ensure all installations comply with building codes and safety standards.
• Diagnose problems and provide effective solutions to HVAC system inefficiencies.
• Keep an inventory of tools and materials needed for installation.
• Communicate effectively with clients about ongoing projects and services.
• Document all work performed and maintain organized paperwork.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Trade qualification or similar

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Sheet Metal Work
• Tools Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Working knowledge of energy efficiency standards: Knowledge of best practices for energy-efficient HVAC installations.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems: Preferred experience working on larger commercial HVAC projects.
