Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing efficient procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and optimising inventory processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze data and drive improvements across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement and purchasing activities.
  • Develop KPIs to measure supply chain performance.
  • Identify and implement inventory management best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and supply chain innovations.
  • Prepare and manage the supply chain budget.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to facilitate communication.
  • Address supply chain disruptions proactively.
  • Utilize data analytics to enhance decision-making.
  • Ensure sustainability practices are integrated into supply chain operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field
  • MBA is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in supply chain or logistics roles
