Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool Polishing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will operate and maintain polishing machines to produce top-notch industrial tools. Strong attention to detail and precision is essential to ensure products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run polishing equipment as per company standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on polished tools to ensure compliance with specs.
• Record all machine adjustments and production outputs.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major concerns.
• Assist with the training of junior operators when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Participate in safety audits and follow safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in machining or engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing or tool polishing sector

Languages

• English: Fluent
