Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon in Pretoria. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in surgery, diagnostics, and a deep love for animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality surgical and medical treatment to animals.
• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
• Consult with pet owners to discuss treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations.
• Manage emergency cases and perform urgent care as needed.
• Actively participate in staff training and development.
• Monitor and oversee the operation of veterinary facilities.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Science
• Registered with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, with surgical experience preferred.
