Truck Unloader

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Unloader to efficiently unload trucks and transport goods to the designated storage area. The ideal candidate will possess strong physical stamina and attention to detail, ensuring safety and quality in all unloading operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and organize incoming cargo efficiently.
• Inspect and report any damaged or incorrect products to management.
• Ensuring goods are properly stored in designated locations.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular counts.
• Participate in safety training and compliance activities.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety of the dock area.
• Provide support to the warehouse team in various tasks as required.
• Promote a positive team environment and assist newer team members.
• Ensure all unloading tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Aid in general warehouse operations and logistics tasks.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Similar experience is preferred, but we are open to training candidates with the right attitude.

Technical Skills

• Basic mathematical skills
• Safety Protocol Awareness

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Time management

Certifications

• Forklift license/certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Basic computer skills: Ability to use computers for record keeping and reporting.
• Heavy machinery operation: Experience or familiarity with operating various types of machinery.
