Public Health Officer

Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing community health and safety. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate health programs designed to improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead health promotion initiatives and campaigns.
• Coordinate public health surveillance and reporting activities.
• Engage with community members to identify crucial health concerns.
• Publish research findings and program evaluations.
• Develop partnerships with educational institutions and organizations.
• Facilitate training programs for staff and volunteers.
• Maintain records and documentation of health programs.
• Serve as a resource for community health information.
• Participate in local and regional public health planning meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in public health

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
