Job Description

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing logistics and coordinating supply chain activities in Port Elizabeth. You will work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure that inventory levels are consistent and operations run smoothly, contributing to our company's overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the supply chain to ensure efficiency.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
  • Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes for quality control.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate with distribution centres to manage logistics.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the supply chain.
  • Utilise supply chain management software for tracking purposes.
  • Train and support junior supply chain staff members.
  • Drive the implementation of sustainable supply chain practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain management
