Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our passionate team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of software quality through rigorous testing and attention to detail. You will test web applications, identify bugs, and suggest improvements to enhance user experience. Strong collaboration with developers and product teams is crucial to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Identify defects and track them through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers to clarify functionality and expected results.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify areas for enhancement.
• Contribute to the development of QA best practices and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide quality feedback.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance methodologies.
• Maintain documentation for testing processes and results.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance testing

• Test Automation Tools

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile application testing: Previous work experience in testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
