Supply Chain Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner to enhance our operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and inventory management, focusing on optimizing supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire logistics process from sourcing to delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with the finance department on budgeting for supply chain activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align supply chain initiatives.
• Assist in resolving supply chain issues and customer complaints.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel Skills
• ERP Systems

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
