Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Claims Manager to lead our claims department in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing claims processes, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the claims department and support staff.
  • Ensure timely processing of claims, from initial notification to resolution.
  • Evaluate claims files and make decisions based on established guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits of claims to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop training modules for claims staff to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred
