Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead our cloud computing efforts in Durban. In this role, you will design and implement innovative cloud solutions, mentor junior staff and drive DevOps transformation initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of existing applications to cloud platforms.
• Implement DevOps tools to enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Assist in defining cloud governance policies.
• Evaluate cloud risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and translate their requirements into cloud solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience with cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of networking concepts: Familiarity with cloud networking and security principles.
