We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our digital infrastructure, managing security incidents, and implementing best practices in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives and projects to enhance our security framework.
• Conduct user access reviews and ensure compliance with access controls.
• Investigate security events to determine their cause and impact.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security in the SDLC.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security procedures and policies.
• Assist in maintaining security certifications as needed.
• Provide expert advice on security architecture and design.
• Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on risk management.
