We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our growing projects in Johannesburg. You will focus on mechanical design, system analysis, and implementing improvement strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency within our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components
• Perform analyses and simulations of mechanical structures
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other engineers and departments to optimize projects
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively
• Execute testing and validation procedures on mechanical components
• Provide technical support and expertise to team members
• Document engineering processes and findings thoroughly
• Maintain and improve existing mechanical systems to enhance performance
• Assist in the training of junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

• SolidWorks

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
