We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams while applying engineering principles to ensure efficiency and innovation in our projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion.
• Utilize CAD software for drafting and modeling mechanical systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the engineering sector

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
