Responsibilities

• Lead design projects and perform technical reviews to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with urban planners and landscape architects to blend designs with surrounding environments.
• Prepare project budgets, schedules, and reports to track the progress.
• Utilize proficient software tools for drafting, rendering, and project management.
• Advise clients on design improvements and provide solutions to existing architectural issues.
• Conduct design critiques to elevate the quality of outputs.
• Participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Master’s degree in Urban Design is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in architectural design with a focus on renewable structures

Technical Skills

• BIM Software Proficiency
• Design Software Expertise

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• SACAP Registered Architect
• Green Building Council Member

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in landscape architecture principles: Ability to integrate landscape elements into architectural designs.
• Familiarity with local zoning bylaws and regulations: Knowledge of local regulations influencing architectural designs.
