Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Johannesburg team. As a key player in our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring our software products meet the highest quality standards. You will conduct assessments, identify bugs, and collaborate closely with developers to enhance our software offerings.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test plans and documentation.
• Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Perform exploratory testing to discover potential issues.
• Work closely with product managers to understand feature requirements.
• Provide actionable insights and suggestions for product improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA methodologies

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing
• Database Testing

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Player

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile practices and experience in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools: Experience using project management tools like JIRA or Trello for issue tracking.
