Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a hands-on approach to testing, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed testing plans that include both manual and automated testing strategies.
• Identify areas for improvement in the testing process.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools and strategies.
• Participate in reviews of software requirements and design specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by users post-deployment.
• Deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications in software testing are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance testing

• Scripting Languages

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
• Agile Testing Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
