Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, providing preventive care, and coordinating patient care activities. Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and take their medical histories.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as necessary.
  • Conduct health screenings and physical examinations.
  • Advise patients on health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with specialists for patient referrals.
  • Participate in continuous education and training programs.
  • Support a team-based approach to patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical environment
