Portfolio Risk Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Risk Manager who will be tasked with developing and implementing risk management frameworks. You will play a critical role in guiding investment decisions, conducting risk assessments and producing reports that inform stakeholders of potential risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage the risk associated with investment portfolios.
• Create and maintain risk models to evaluate potential financial impacts.
• Work closely with investment teams to develop strategies that align with risk appetite.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements in risk reporting.
• Conduct regular audits of risk policies and procedures.
• Develop risk reporting templates for clarity and transparency.
• Advise on capital allocation and performance metrics as per risk analyses.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects focused on risk optimization.
• Foster partnerships with risk management software providers to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Lead training sessions on risk management practices for team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in portfolio management or quantitative analysis
