Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ditcher to operate heavy machinery for excavation and shaping ditches for agricultural and drainage projects. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Utilize heavy machinery to excavate and transport soil and materials.
• Collaborate with site engineers to ensure proper grading and slope.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all equipment.
• Assist in setting up site for drainage and excavation works.
• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and other trades.
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
• Report machinery faults or issues to management.
• Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certificate
• Heavy machinery operator certification

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in excavation or construction roles
