We seek an experienced Food Scientist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food product development, quality assurance, and food safety regulations. This role involves innovating new food products and improving existing formulations.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments to test product features and consumer acceptance.
• Collaborate with chefs and culinary experts for product validation.
• Support the marketing team in product presentations and launches.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with new product lines.
• Participate in regulatory audits and ensure documentation compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Food Technology is advantageous

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product development
