Pick Up Driver

Job Description

We are searching for a reliable and experienced Pick Up Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely transport goods and perform pickups and deliveries as assigned. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license and excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and products to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery schedules are met.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks regularly.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 2-4 years' experience in the transportation or logistics industry

Technical Skills

• Basic mathematical skills for record-keeping

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in multiple languages will be advantageous.
