Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Dentist to join our dedicated team in Bloemfontein. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental conditions, performing dental procedures, and providing preventive care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and the ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and supportive space for clients to discuss their challenges.
• Work closely with family members to enhance the treatment process.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Assist clients in developing coping strategies for daily challenges.
• Contribute to the team’s community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a mental health setting

Technical Skills

• Behavioral Therapy
• Trauma-Informed Care

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• HPCSA Registered Counsellor
• Certified Mental Health Counselor (CMHC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
