Community Organization Director

Job Description

The Community Organization Director will spearhead community programs and initiatives, leading a dedicated team to implement transformative projects that align with our mission. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of community program strategies and objectives.
• Ensure effective financial management of programs while pursuing grants and funding opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with local governments and other non-profits to enhance community impact.
• Oversee training and professional development for staff and volunteers.
• Implement marketing and outreach strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Analyze program outcomes and adjust strategies as necessary to meet community needs.
• Engage with program participants to understand their experiences and improve services.
• Promote a culture of inclusivity and respect across all community initiatives.
• Work with the Board of Directors to refine the organization's mission and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in community development or non-profit management.
