Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our committed team at Local Community Services in Cape Town. In this role, you will assess client needs, provide counseling, and implement intervention strategies. Your work will directly impact the wellbeing of our community members.

Responsibilities

• Assess the social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional skills.
• Monitor client progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
• Develop community outreach programs to raise awareness of social issues.
• Prepare and submit reports on client outcomes and program effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or community services
