Job Description

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiation for medical purposes, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. This position requires a valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Train new staff on imaging techniques and safety procedures.
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment.
• Coordinate with scheduling to manage patient flow efficiently.
• Provide support during complex imaging procedures as needed.
• Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology.

Requirements

Education

• Registered with ARRT

Experience

• Experience with diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.

Technical Skills

• Experience with specialized imaging procedures.

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Valid license to practice in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in advanced imaging techniques.: Additional qualifications in special imaging procedures are a plus.
