Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Legal Advisor to provide sound legal guidance and support to our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African law, including corporate governance and compliance. This role involves advising on legal matters, drafting contracts, and conducting risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to various departments.
• Interpret laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in dispute resolution and negotiations.
• Conduct risk assessments and legal impact analyses.
• Provide ongoing legal training and support to staff.
• Review internal policies to ensure legal alignment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal trends and changes.

Requirements

Education

• LLB in Law or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years in corporate legal roles

• English: Fluent
