Job Description

Responsibilities

• Providing efficient and effective emergency medical care in high-pressure situations.
• Engaging with patients and their families to offer emotional support and reassurance.
• Conducting thorough assessments of patient conditions to inform treatment decisions.
• Utilizing electronic reporting systems for patient care documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards during all operations.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in paramedic services, preferably in emergency medical settings.

Technical Skills

• Electronic patient care reporting software

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in training junior medical staff: Demonstrated ability to mentor and educate less experienced paramedics.
