We are seeking an experienced Urban Development Consultant to join our Durban office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in urban planning, land use, and community engagement. This role involves developing plans and policies to create sustainable and vibrant communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of urban regeneration initiatives.
• Evaluate the impact of urban policies on communities.
• Consult with developers and business actors.
• Prepare and present strategic proposals to stakeholders.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Identify funding opportunities for urban development projects.
• Foster partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in urban development
