Job Description

The Extraction Technician will perform product extractions while ensuring safety and compliance with all procedures. This role is essential to guarantee the quality of products and involves working with specialized extraction equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct extractions while following all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Utilize extraction equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Work closely with colleagues to coordinate extraction tasks.
  • Record all relevant data accurately for traceability.
  • Participate in regular safety and quality training sessions.
  • Ensure all chemical and waste disposal procedures are followed.
  • Support the development of new extraction methods.
  • Maintain records of equipment maintenance and calibration.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualifications in Chemistry or Laboratory Techniques
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the cannabis or related extraction industry.
Technical Skills
  • HPLC and GC techniques
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • Certification in Good Manufacturing Practices
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Hands-on experience with extraction prototypes and methods: Experience in developing and optimizing extraction methods.
