Job Description

We are searching for skilled Fiberglass Laminators and Fabricators who are responsible for operating fiber winding machines, ensuring quality production, and maintaining equipment standards. This role is crucial within our manufacturing processes and offers an opportunity to work with innovative fiber optic technology.

Responsibilities

• Set up fiber winding machines for production runs.
• Load fiber onto machines and operate them following standard procedures.
• Maintain records of production and machine performance.
• Ensure machines are kept clean and in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work area.
• Assist with quality inspections of finished products.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the team.
• Engage in training for new techniques and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to enhance efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Relevant qualification or training in manufacturing (advantageous)

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a related manufacturing role

Technical Skills

• Fiber winding machine operation
• Basic troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position is advantageous.
