Job Description

As a Structural Iron and Steel Worker, you will be responsible for installing and constructing iron structures in various construction projects. This involves a mix of physical labor and technical skills to ensure all structures meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to move and lift materials.
• Bolt or weld iron components together.
• Conduct safety checks on equipment before use.
• Work closely with project engineers and architects.
• Document and report on project progress and issues.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Proven experience as an Iron Erector or similar role is preferred.
