Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Financial Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial planning, excellent communication skills, and a client-centric approach. This role involves assessing clients' financial needs, creating personalized financial plans, and offering strategies to help clients achieve their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' assets, liabilities, and overall financial health.
• Develop investment strategies aligned with clients’ goals.
• Educate clients on financial products and services.
• Identify opportunities for client financial growth.
• Assist clients with retirement planning and wealth preservation strategies.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates.
• Utilize financial planning software for enhanced efficiency.
• Participate in industry networking events to build a client base.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master’s degree in Finance or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in wealth management

Technical Skills

• Risk Management
• Portfolio Management

Soft Skills

• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
