Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Tool and Die Maker. You will be responsible for designing and fabricating custom tools and dies essential for our production lines. Previous experience in metal manufacturing and a passion for craftsmanship are key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate precision tools and dies to meet production specifications.
  • Utilize CAD software for designing tool components and fixtures.
  • Implement safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot tool and machinery issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Train junior staff on tool-making techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade certificate in Toolmaking
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in tool and die making within metal manufacturing.
