Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reel Winder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining winding machines, ensuring that high-quality reels are produced efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machinery for production runs by ensuring operational setup according to specifications.
• Perform regular inspections and adjustments to ensure that machinery operates smoothly.
• Keep the production area clean and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
• Assist with training new operators when necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
• Technical training in machine operation is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
