Job Description

Join us as a Pet Groomer where your primary responsibility will be to groom and pamper pets. With a focus on high-quality grooming, you will be handling everything from washing and cutting to styling, ensuring each pet receives the best care possible.

Responsibilities

• Groom pets according to breed standards and owner requests.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care and grooming maintenance.
• Monitor pet health and report any concerns to the manager.
• Assist in training junior staff members.
• Conduct pre-grooming consultations to assess pet needs.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care or similar is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pet grooming or animal care

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Flea and Tick Treatment Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• Grooming Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles: Understanding of different grooming styles specific to various breeds.
• Experience in a pet retail environment: Familiarity with pet products and retail sales.
