Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Strong knowledge of design principles and local regulations is essential to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and documents.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Engage in continuous learning to remain updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Ensure project documentation is precise and complete for regulatory compliance.
• Implement best practices in engineering and sustainable design.
• Coordinate with local authorities on regulatory approvals.
• Prepare technical reports for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in civil engineering projects
