Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in our engineering projects in Durban. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product teams, performing simulations and testing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source materials for projects.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the design and manufacturing phases.
• Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present design proposals to stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
