Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Researcher to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work closely with scientists and healthcare professionals to conduct clinical trials and research studies. You will be instrumental in analyzing data and contributing to groundbreaking health improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute research experiments to support clinical initiatives.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to gather and analyze data.
• Document findings and contribute to academic publications and presentations.
• Monitor trial protocols and patient interactions to ensure data integrity.
• Identify trends in research findings and develop recommendations.
• Collaborate in grant proposal writing and funding applications.
• Engage with external partners and stakeholders for research opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or Pharmacy
• Master’s degree in Research or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare research

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software (e.g., SPSS, R)
• Research Methodologies

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Biostatistics: Knowledge of biostatistical methods used in clinical research.
