Job Description

As an Underground Mining Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various digging machines to excavate materials like earth, coal, and ore in a safe and efficient manner. Join our dedicated team in the mining sector!

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain digging machines for excavation work in diverse terrains.
• Record daily operational data and report to the Site Manager.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operations and safety.
• Conduct safety briefings before operation of machinery.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in will be an advantage.

Experience

• A strong preference for those holding 3+ years of heavy machinery operation experience.

Technical Skills

• Experience with excavators and backhoes
• Physical stamina

Soft Skills

• Independent and team-oriented work ability

Advantageous

• Experience in open-pit and underground mining: Hands-on experience in various mining environments.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Understand and adhere to environmental and safety regulations in mining.
