Job Description

As a Fitness Trainer at Fitness First in Durban, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients towards their fitness goals. You will develop customized training programs, provide personal training sessions, and foster a supportive community environment. Ideal candidates will be passionate about fitness and have a strong track record in personal training.

Responsibilities

  • Educate clients on the importance of physical fitness and health.
  • Conduct fitness assessments and track client progress.
  • Design engaging group fitness classes that cater to various skill levels.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the gym.
  • Promote fitness programs and special events to members.
  • Assist clients in setting and achieving realistic fitness goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher Certificate in Fitness or related field
  • Degree in Sports Science preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in group training or personal training
