Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, performing examinations, and creating treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and order laboratory tests as needed.
• Provide compassionate care while addressing patient concerns.
• Manage patient communications and follow-ups effectively.
• Stay abreast of advancements in healthcare practices.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
• Guide and supervise junior healthcare staff as required.
• Maintain adherence to all healthcare regulations and policies.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate training in family medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in primary care medicine

Technical Skills

• Clinical examination
• Healthcare software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Family Physician
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
