Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, performing examinations, and creating treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose patients' health issues.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on preventative healthcare and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with specialists and healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records using healthcare software.
• Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate training in family medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in primary care medicine

Technical Skills

• Clinical examination

Certifications

• Certified Family Physician
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
