Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients' healthcare needs.
• Conduct regular check-ups and screenings for various health conditions.
• Advocate for patient health and wellness through education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans thoroughly.
• Stay informed about current medical guidelines and practices.
• Participate in community health initiatives to promote well-being.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in general practice or family medicine

Technical Skills

• Emergency Medicine
• Preventative Health Care

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Intermediate
