We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Analyst to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will analyze health-related data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based decision making for public health programs. Your work will help shape policies aimed at enhancing health outcomes for communities across the region.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demographic and health data to gauge community health needs.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate public health programs.
• Draft policy recommendations based on data analysis and evidence.
• Monitor health program budgets and expenditures for compliance.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community health workers.
• Assist in designing surveys and evaluation studies to assess health programs.
• Provide technical support in the interpretation of public health data.
• Address public inquiries regarding health data and statistical information.
• Participate in health conferences and training sessions to enhance knowledge.
• Contribute to the development of communications strategies to disseminate health information.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related discipline
• Advanced degree in Public Health is highly desirable

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in public health or data analytics
