Job Description

The Waterway Traffic Checker plays a crucial role in monitoring and regulating marine traffic within designated waterways. This position involves constant communication with vessel operators, ensuring safe navigation, and managing emergency situations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee real-time traffic flow and coordinate with multiple agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports regarding traffic patterns and incidents.
  • Train junior staff in traffic monitoring systems.
  • Evaluate the performance of the traffic management system.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies for traffic management.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher qualification in marine or maritime studies
