Job Description

We are looking for a creative Architect to join our expanding team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial architecture, with a passion for innovative design. You will be responsible for creating detailed architectural plans, collaborating with clients, and overseeing project development from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail architectural layouts using CAD software.
• Engage in creative brainstorming sessions for new projects.
• Evaluate and select materials for construction.
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead site visits to monitor construction progress.
• Identify potential design obstacles and propose solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and reports.
• Support junior architects in their professional development.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings and design reviews.
• Participate in community outreach to promote design concepts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Coursework in sustainable design is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
