• Ensure machinery and equipment are functioning at peak efficiency.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and manage maintenance staff.
• Report on maintenance costs and perform budget analysis.
• Assist in the development of maintenance strategies.
• Evaluate new technologies for improved maintenance.
• Participate in safety audits and maintain a safe working environment.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Degree in Engineering is advantageous
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
• Preventive Maintenance Skilled in developing and implementing preventive strategies.
• Electrical Systems Basic understanding of electrical systems in industrial settings.
• Safety Standards Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and compliance.
• Team Collaboration Proficient in working with cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solving Ability to identify and address issues promptly.
• Communication Strong communication skills for coordinating maintenance activities.
• Leadership Experience in leading maintenance teams effectively.
• Time Management Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT)
• First Aid Certification
• English (Fluent)
• Afrikaans (Basic)

• Training in Welding or Fabrication: Knowledge in welding processes or metal fabrication.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing: Understanding of lean principles for efficient production processes.
